The Online HAZWOPER 24-hour Course offered on our website is the training course you need if you are an emergency responder to hazardous materials spills or releases for purposes of assessing and stabilizing the emergency situation (e.g.: HAZMAT first responders). This course is also required for those who work on hazardous waste clean-up sites or storage, treatment, and/or disposal sites only occasionally for a specific limited task and who are unlikely to be exposed over permissible exposure limits and published limits. This course is also the one needed for HAZMAT employees regularly on site who perform tasks in areas which have been monitored and fully characterized indicating that exposures are under permissible exposure limits (PEL's) and published exposure limits, where respirators are not necessary nor required by the employer, and there are no health hazards or the possibility of an emergency developing.
